Description

An atmospheric vintage 20th century watercolour on paper of a winter scene. It depicts a figure carrying a basket walking on a pathway through a village. The area is deep in snow with just a few lights on in the houses. The painting is by Sepp Rustler a German artist active in the late 19th and early 20th century. The image is signed lower right, the reverse with title and date 1935. Presented in a window mount, glazed and framed. Image size is 21.5cm high by 19cm wide. Frame size is 37cm high by 34cm wide. Stock Code: 3706.
