Description

This is a rare double set of antique late 19th century playing cards. The cards were printed in 1893 by Goodhall & Son founded in 1820 and based in London. The sets are printed with the Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards Masters Pack. They feature a portrait of the Master and coats of arms of the company and the City of London. The card faces are printed with Goodall's 'Historic' design with gilt edges and with French suits. One pack with a cream background, and the other a pink background. The two packs are presented in the original dark green leather case with gilt tooled company coat of arms. Each card is 9.1cm by 6.5cm. A highly desirable set of playing cards. Stock Code: 3353.
