Description

This is a very rare 16th century obligation bond written on vellum. It dates to the reign of Edward VI, the boy king, and son of Henry VIII. He was king for only six years 1547 to 1553, so documents written during his short reign are scarce. It is written in latin and mentions the Heptonstall area of Yorkshire. The document would benefit from translation and further research. Stock Code: 2541.
