  MOON THEE - Nuclear Energy

The Moon, it has been orbiting the Earth for as long as almost before time, is it there for looks or is it there for a specific reason?  Ever since people lived on the Earth the moon has always been up there, in the sky, some people thought it was heavenly and other people thought it could harbor bad omens.  In medieval times priests were also the astronomers and they would explain lunar happenings and no attempt was made to separate astronomy from religion.  Although many scientists had proved that the moon was actually made of matter Astronomy was revolutionized in the second half of the 19th-century by techniques based on photography and the spectroscope, but this still did not change some people's beliefs of the spiritual aspects of the moon.

Scientifically the moon is the single natural satellite of the Earth, its average distance from Earth as it orbits around it is 240,000 miles.  The moon's diameter is about 2160 miles and its crust is about 45 miles thick making the moon more rigid and solid to a greater depth than the Earth, it's mass is 1/81 the mass of the Earth and is 3/5 as dense.

Sure the moon looks beautiful for us here from Earth but is it just a coincidence that one side always faces in the other direction into space?  We here in society's modern age have made many predictions about the space-age, I have a few predictions too that may sound profound hearing them the first time, but here's one that you may find very interesting:  Let me start with this; since one side of the moon always faces away from the Earth the possibility exists of storing nuclear material there, and if by chance there was a disaster the moon's natural gravitational field would contain a meltdown.  Although it may be some time before we are actually able to transport the heavy elements it would be to our advantage if we would focus on this extensively because keeping them on the moon could reduce the possibility of having unwanted bombs produced that could be used for terrorist activities.  On a more PRODUCTIVE note though this arrangement also makes the possibility of producing NUCLEAR ENERGY by using the moon something that may be seen in the comparative future.  I would like to be part of this grand design, that maybe GOD! composed, as much as the many other countries that would like to have ECONOMIC futures and their share of capitalism and peace so to me the moon also looks beautiful and alluring with all the majesty our astronauts conveyed as they looked back towards our Earth.

I believe nuclear power produced in the manner as described above will be an important historical event we as "earthlings" will see as part of our future for Earth.  Although an effort today to implement this bright future Energy plan would only end up as a hypothetical goldmine, advancing new technologies, an increasing number of workers, and also the future developement of systems that can manufacture the billions of parts necessary to complete this plan will make it a very profitable and secure one someday.  Working on this plan for energy and also to safely store nuclear material now though would surely help protect our Earth as well as the masses.  PS:  The time for engineers and scientists to design equiptment and machine some parts for this endeavor might be now, IMAGINE!  I'm writing this as a Toast to the Space-Age and the Future, Stay In School, and, Mechanics are Special!

My design ideas of a space-ship use some of the same engineering techniques as a Locomotive Train Engine.  Instead of a Diesel Engine you would use a Nuclear Powered system to generate electricity, just like a Locomotive Engine does to run the motors that turn the wheels.  Instead of motors and wheels you have high-tech electro-magnets that oppose the earth's gravitational field and lift the ship away from the ground.  Using enough power the magnets produce a magnetic field that is larger than many football fields in size and lift the relatively small object, ship, into space.  With enough technology even the Sun's magnetic field can be used for navigation.

To reiterate, I came up with this idea that everyone on Earth should get together and create a space program that could put a Nuclear Reactor on the Moon back in the late 80's, when I was in Jr. College, around the same time Chernobyl in Russia exploded killing the many people nearby.  Americans being the model citizens we are should have helped the Russians before the accident with their plans to build their reactors safer, but then for whatever reason we didn't want to get involved or spend the time or the money.  If we had been more trusting some years before we could have shared our Atomic Energy technology with them, I'm sure discerning a plan for Energy and Peace was not unimaginable for others on the planet then too; are we taught this in school?  My ideas may appear too unattainable for people who haven't seen technology in action, but remember it was only 100 years ago when we didn't yet dream of having even Super Highways.  Today there's a number of people working on our global energy issues so there can be PEACE and employment for everyone in our future!

Yes, our lives have improved a lot since the 80's 25 years ago, but, we can still do more to get out of our tunnel vision and into a system that works.  You probably think; "Robert is Crazy," and I admit I thought I was too, but, I always believed this world was created with a bigger plan in mind for us people.

I still think it may take a Genius to put together all the good ideas there are for making plenty of energy available for everyone, don't get me wrong, but the question is "are we having a power shortage and we're in the middle of it?"  People never tell me there is a bright Energy future, but I know by doing some simple steps now it will all come together someday!
