Description

Imperial German 1889 Prussian Officers Sword. Prussian Eagle to cartouche, with a folding hilt in working order. This was to allow comfort for the wearer when hung on a belt. The grip with Kaiser Wilhelm II monogram to centre of grip covered in original shagreen and gilt wire. A double fullered blade with faint makers mark just visible, likely, Clement and Jung Solingen. Original blackened steel scabbard with both hanging ring and belt loop. Overall lovely patina and a worthy and rare addition to any collection.
