Fuel Synthesis

So what would you do if there was a solution to our planets petroleum problems? The big thinkers of the world may have an answer and the answer is an Electrical Storm!  An average Lightning Strike with the power of 50 Megawatts can easily power Automobiles or other equipment but not by Electrical Batteries but by actual Petroleum that can be made by using the high-voltage of the Storm.  All it takes is the raw elements; Hydrogen, Carbon and Nitrogen, trucked to a Refinery and Lightning Rods atop a mountain.  Ben Franklin’s famous Kite and Key experiment shows that you can capture electrical energy in a Capacitor, the same process would be used for the Refinery where very large Capacitors would capture the electrical energy from a Lightning Storm and then use the high-voltage to combine chemicals.  Using high-voltage to combine chemicals is very efficient compared to low-voltage and there’s not much energy loss so this approach is an ingenious one.

Of course Octane and Other Fuels are Hydrocarbons so the raw materials can be easily found in nature.  After the Capacitors are charged by a Lightning Strike the electricity is slowly drawn off them through some Resistors and down the mountain into the Refinery where it combines the raw materials of the process into a Chemical that could be compared to as the Crude Oil that comes from a well.  Using a controlled High-Voltage system leaves the chemical reaction stream-lined and there's almost no energy loss of any kind in this process, bonding is not efficient using Low-Voltage but with High-Voltage the Covalent and Ionic bonds that are efficiently made are strong too, these are the same bonds that brake apart when Combustion happens and expanding gas and heat is released:  Basically an almost perfect transfer of Wattage from Lightning Rod to Engine is obtained when these Chemicals have Combustion which is better than many other forms of energy transfer processes.

The transfer of energy can be shown with some simple calculations; (50MW % 40KW = 1250cars).  A typical Vehicle would use around 40 kW per hour when traveling just below the speed limit on a Freeway, which means that 1250 passenger vehicles could be powered for 1 hour using the most technically efficient and close to perfect manner of chemical fuel process possible and 1 concentrated Lightning Strike.

Since only 1/3 of a gas powered electric generator's output is the actual Electricity the development of "plug-In charged vehicles," I believe, is not yet an efficient or an exceptional plan.  I still think Petroleum is a great way to go but cars that run on Hydrogen may create danger and inefficiency unless there's a lot more thought put into the designing of them.  Electricity to charge battery powered cars could be supplied, maybe someday, by a power-grid utilizing Oscillators and Transformers running on Storage Capacitors and Lightning Storm Rods atop some mountains...  Good Luck !

NOW ISN'T THIS NICE TO KNOW? and, will we ever use "Electric Powered Vehicles?"
