An antique late Victorian ceramic toothpaste pot lid. The white ground transfer printed in black with a Doncaster chemist Howarth & Parkin. The Camphor toothpaste described as 'a most agreeable and efficient dentifrice, by use of which the teeth are beautified and preserved and a delicious coolness and fragrance is imparted to the breath'.
