Description

A wonderful and highly collectable antique early 20th century ceramic vase by Pilkington Royal Lancastrian. The vase of compressed shouldered form with drawn neck on a short foot. Beautifully decorated with scrolling leafy tendrils over an ivory ground. Each side with a red lustre shield cartouche of a rampant lion and fleur-de-lis. The shoulders with interlaced bands of red and burnt orange. Decorated by William S Mycock (1872-1950) made circa 1920. The base with painted and impressed marks. Stock Code: 3602.
