Description
A limited edition poppy from the art installation at the Tower of London in 2014. The exhibition was called Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, and consisted of 888, 246 ceramic poppies displayed cascading over the walls of the Tower of London. It commemorated the centenary of the outbreak of WWI. The poppies were designed by Paul Cummins and the art installation by Tom Piper. It ran between July and November 2014. After the exhibition, the poppies were available for purchase. This one includes the poppy, the metal stem and fixings, as well as the certificate and original box. The poppy on its metal rod is 51cm high. Stock Code: 3538.
