Description

1907 Pattern British Bayonet. Known officially as the sword bayonet this is the 1907 mark 1 type, with a walnut grip dating from 1913. It has the X bend test mark, broad government arrow acceptance mark and arms inspectors mark. It also has a much later armorers mark dated 11’ 43 which indicates it was still in use in the 2nd World War. This was its final inspection, but what stories could this item tell.
